Assaf Tarnopolsky, G’00, WG’00, leads LinkedIn’s advertising business in Asia, with a focus on Singapore, SouthEast Asia, Japan and Korea. He spends his days working on digital transformation strategies with clients and leading teams that help B2B marketers connect with professional audiences around the world.
A specialist in digital, content marketing and mobile, Assaf began his career at the dawn of the internet at a San Francisco start-up. In his 20 year media and technology career since then, Assaf has, among other things, been a VP at Sony Pictures, CEO of tech-news start-up Tecca.com, and Director of International BD at mobile media pioneer MobiTV. As an entrepreneur, Assaf founded and built Metro Crepes, a chain of creperies with outlets in San Francisco and Oakland, California.
Assaf is a an alumnus of the UC Santa Barbara and has a Masters in International Studies from the University of Pennsylvania’s Lauder Institute (French Program) and an MBA from The Wharton School.
While Assaf and his WG’00-classmate wife Natalie now call Singapore home, Assaf is a diehard Golden State Warriors fan and stays busy on the basketball court himself with his four sons.
