Amit Lohia, W’95, Organizing Committee Member

Born in 1974, Mr. Amit Lohia obtained his Bachelor of Economics in Finance from the Wharton School of Business in 1996.  Subsequently he joined Indorama at their corporate office in Jakarta in 1996.  Since then, he has executed several industrial projects and M&A transactions for Indorama at various locations around the world.  After working in Jakarta, he spent 10 years in Singapore and currently resides in London with his wife and three children.

He is currently the Vice Chairman of Indorama Corporation, one of Asia’s leading chemical holding company.  Mr. Amit Lohia is on the board of various companies including Indorama Ventures Limited, the largest producer of Polyester in the world, which is a publically listed company on the Thai Stock Exchange.  He also pursues philanthropic activities through the Lohia Foundation and is part of educational bodies such as the Wharton Executive Board for Europe.  He is also a member of YPO’s Singapore Chapter and several chemical associations.
